Meet Dr. Kerrie Adams

Why She Founded UroLuxe

Throughout her career, Dr. Adams saw how difficult it could be for women with pelvic floor disorders to access the specialized care they needed.

In many large healthcare systems, Urogynecology is treated as a small component of women’s healthcare, led by physicians or administrators without subspecialty training in pelvic floor medicine. Decisions about clinic structure, scheduling, and access to care were often guided by operational metrics rather than the unique needs of patients seeking specialty treatment.

This frequently resulted in long waitlists, multiple referrals, and unnecessary barriers before patients could reach a pelvic floor specialist and surgeon.

Dr. Adams believed women deserved better.

She founded UroLuxe to create the kind of practice she envisioned for her patients, one where women could access a pelvic floor expert directly, receive individualized care, and avoid the delays often built into larger healthcare systems.

UroLuxe is owned and operated by a pelvic floor specialist, ensuring that the structure of the practice is designed around the needs of patients with pelvic floor disorders.

Because women who need specialized pelvic floor care deserve more than being added to a long waitlist.

They deserve expert care, thoughtful attention, and a clear path toward healing.
